We used to be....

Looking back at those little notes you all gave me,
puts a smile on my face.
Even though we've stopped talking to each other,
even though our only relationship is only a friend in MSN/Facebook,
it just reminds me that we were once friends,
and we once played a part in each others' life.
A few days ago,
I saw one of my Primary school friends @ Colours.
It's not that I don't want to go up and say hello,
it's just that I don't know how to.
Because I know I'll feel awkward,
I know I'll be at loss for words,
and things will get even more embarrassing if she doesn't recognise me.
I'm just not that social type of people.
All I want is just the memory that we were once friends,
we had the chance to know each other,
and we once played a part in each others' lives.
Even if you were just a passer-by,
but so long as you came into my life once,
having the memory of it,
it's more than enough.
Keeping in contact and continuing our friendship is another thing.
