It's not as if I'm not putting in the effort.
It's just that in times when I put in the effort,
it's like no one sees it.

You might think I'm putting in enough,
but I'm really trying hard,
why can't you ever see?

Sometimes, I just wish someone sees my effort.
I don't need compliments,
I don't need praises,
I just need someone to see it.

Just to prove it,
I'm really trying hard.
Even though at times it felt like I couldn't breathe,
even though it got tough.

I know I'm not clever,
and I don't pick up things fast.
